Designate the back wall for your garage for things you use regularly like garbage bins, recycling bins, coolers and lawn care supplies. Typically, this is also the best place for cabinets so when your cabinet doors open, they don’t bump into your car.

Use the remaining wall for off season items you rarely use, but still need to store year-round. Position shelving high on the wall to keep things out of children’s reach and away from your car.
